Just FYI- There was also a blue/tan who was from the west coast area, who was
shown in UKC and somehow got his CH (they say he was dark blue, hard to tell
from true black unless in sunlight). The dog was born mid 90s from an am show
line pedigree.
It appears he was heavily used with the blue fanciers; being a pedigree nerd I
have seen him behind many of the contemporary pedigrees with blue in them (as I
don't want blues or livers myself).
