Steven, somehow "common Joe" is still able to come up with 2500K to 3,000K
for German bred puppies.
Anyhow, I'm a "common Joe" and I think 1,000K - 2,000K for a show prospect
is very reasonable. Actually, more than reasonable considering the amount
of hard work and dedication it takes to produce a decent show prospect.
When I first became interested in showing, I was told that the purchase
price of a prospect is negligible when compared to what it will cost to finish
the dog.

Does it really mater? The economy the price of gas, handlers fees, travel
costs, is it little wonder showing our beloved GSD's has indeed become a
