I am not affected by what Bulldog people, or chihuahua people, or mastiff
people say about our dogs. THEY are not the students of OUR breed....we are.
I had an Aussie exhibitor argue with me that my lovely, exquisite Red Sable
bitch had to had some "wolf" in her, with that color. I figure I could not
convinced her otherwise and walked away. She is going around talking about a
lesser GSD because she knows nothing
I am sure some GSD people stand at ringside at the Neapolitan Mastiff ring and
are less than impress. That certainly won't affect the real purist of that
breed from going forward.
What we can't do is move backwards. The least any GSD person breeding, buying
and showing dogs can do is learn to interpret the standard and apply that
knowledge against the dogs they are looking at.
Or they can ask the bulldog people, of course.
