Oh, my!!! Now, I really am jealous! I named my puppy girl after Ella
Fitzgerald! She's my favorite jazz singer of all time! I'm very
envious of Evan meeting Ray Bradbury too.

My son was registering at Cal State Northridge a number of years back
and a
lady next to him was having trouble finding all her classes. My son sat
with her for quite a while and helped with her program and had a
wonderful
chat with her. She thanked him profusely and wanted his address to send
him
something. He gave it to her saying she didn't have to send him
anything.
Well, a few days later he received a copy of Ella Fitzgerald's book with
a
darling inscription. He had no idea who this lovely black lady was.
