[ SHOWGSD-L ] Who have you met

Living in L.A., I have met and worked with?several Celebs and even arrested a
couple.?
My two favorites were Joe Montana and Ella Fitzgerald.? Joe was a total
gentleman and introduced myself and my daughter to his wife and kids at an
equestrian event.? Ok, that was after he mowed me down as he was coming out of
the bar to check the scores of the games and I was going in to check the
scores.? We were both glued to the TV and crashed, LOL!
Ella is my all-time favorite.? I met her at the Indiana Symphony Orchestra Hall
during a concert.? My husband was the guitarist for her set.? She had him do a
guitar solo and had us come back stage after the show.? She was funny and sweet
and you just wanted her to be your Grandma :-)? I was very pregnant and she
made me take her chair to sit.? Several years later, I pulled her over for
weaving in traffic.? She was in her Rolls Royce.? We thought she was a drunk
driver.? Nope.? As you may know, she wore those coke bottle glasses.? She was
visiting a friend and lost track of time and was driving home at dusk.? She
couldn't see.? She was so upset.? We decided to bring her home.? I drove her
Rolls and my partner followed.? She invited us in for Iced tea and we went in
to her home.? She told me I looked familiar.? I told her about the concert and
she remembered the whole thing.? WOW!? What a legend and great lady.?
