It was actually Linda B. that asked the question first, but the way it was
asked was "who would....?". I think she got one yes out of a couple of
thousand readers.
Truth be told, I don't understand breeding to a dog/bitch who has DQs or
serious faults or anything that is undesirable with the possible exception of
a dog who has perhaps injured an ear (????).
As far as the health issues, I think we've pretty much established none are
linked to a white masking gene so I don't understand why those are
continuously brought up along with the whole white thing. Study pedigrees,
test
and as much as possible stay/breed away from health issues.
I ask people all the time "why" they did a breeding. I usually plan a few
generations out and I love getting into the mind of others that do as
well.
