If the members of AWSA were serious about separating, they would have given up
their AKC papers that state their dogs were GSDs a long time ago. Thats putting
your money where your mouth is. If the AKC wants to recognize the BBS, it
should be with imported dogs with FCI papers that have been breeding as that
breed since 1989, not with dogs in the AKC registry that are known and
registered as GSDs.

magically come back to the GSDCA and start breeding white
German shepherds again whether the DQ comes off or not. As
a club, AWSA is committed to the separate breed and its
establishment and recognition in this country."
