Mike,
From what I understand they were voting to make the white German shepherd a
SEPARATE breed, not a separate color class. Unfortunately when you DNA a
white German shepherd or a pigmented German shepherd you get a GERMAN
SHEPHERD, period. Color does not change that fact. I also understand from
Helen's post that the full Board was not present for this very IMPORTANT vote.
I know that at least four of those who were not present are very active in
the breed and I question the validity of how our Board can push through such
an important vote 'under the table' so to speak when seven board members had
left at 11:30 to catch flights home. I guess I question the timing of the
vote as to why it was delayed when the full Board was not present. Anyone
care to clarify?
