Okay, I stand corrected re. Max. Are you saying the Breed clubs just didn't
like the appearance of white dogs and decided to disqualify them simply because
of this?
I'm not trying to be argumentative. I really want to understand *why* white is
a disqualifying fault.

He did no such thing! Disqualifications were "invented" by
breed clubs through the years. Max couldn't have cared
less. He was all about a dog's working ability.
