The white GSD is a beautiful animal and in my humble opinion deserves to be
presented in the show ring under the heading of Swiss Bergier Blanc as they are
in Europe directed by the governing body , the FCI. The breeders should be
given the credit for developing a sound helathy animal. The SV approved the
submission of the White GSD as a separate breed to ther AKC.

I am ambivalent on this whole white issue, but I like Helen Gleason's
suggestion.
I do not dislike any German Shepherd because of it's color...same with people.
If the white GSD has all the same mental properties of all of our GSD dogs,
how could I not love it, green, purple, pink or yellow. I love the BRAIN
of our dogs as well as the body, so that's where I am ambivalent. I will let
others hash out this controversy I think....it's a tough one...but I WANT THE
DOGS TO WIN!
