Stevie and Julie were a wonderful team to watch - and they certainly got lots
of attention any time they were in the ring. We should recognize dogs who
represent our breed so well and so consistently.

Stevie (Am. Can. UKC. Int. Ch. Von Hamm Bedkar Leathern' Lace, OFA H/E)
won most of her 217 BOB's in the AB ring....she won under AB and Specialty
judges alike...
in fact, Bob Slay gave her BOB and Group One and sent her to her first BIS.
She won in indoor
small rings and big outdoor grass rings. BTW, she was superbly trained and
handled by
Julie Hamasaki. They were a phenominal team and qualified for the Eukanuba
National
Championships 7 years in a row.....and, amazingly, with 50 Group Ones and 8
BIS,she does not
qualify for the Parade of Greats...oh well!

Exactly Joan! A good dog CAN and DOES win anywhere his owner wants
him too. We all make choices. Why people continue to denigrate the
all-breed ring is something I'll NEVER understand. Sheesh.
