I tried to drop out of dogs about 5 years ago - I thought I needed to do something different with my life. Don is good about the dogs, but not a dog show FANATIC. As hard as I tried - nobody would let it happen. My Flat-Coat friends kept coming up with exciting new young dogs to show. During that time I was going through some personal issues and I needed a break from dogs, dog shows, etc.. That break was WONDERFUL for me - growing up in te sport, I needed to go do other things for a while. I have learned how to mesh my life with my other hobbies and other family along with my dogs, dogshows and that family.. I know day will come when I am no longer able to show dogs (my knees probably), but until then, I will enjoy it and everything about it...
