I am breeding my bitch this winter when she is 6.5 years old (her 3rd litter),
and hope on getting one more breeding out of her after that...probably the
following year assuming she has an easy whelp this time.
I honestly think it depends on the health and whelping history of the bitch
and the longevity of your lines and varies from bitch to bitch. If the bitch
has never had a litter before, I probably would not breed her at this age.
