[ SHOWGSD-L ] What makes up the 17k savings?

From what little I know, (which is very little), we usually spend about
$17,000 a year to rent the site. I understand Purina donates the site, and
so we save the cost of the rings and locations. We still have other expenses,
but the base expense is eliminated. I know each year the cost changes,
but from what I recall from when I was on the board, we did spend anywhere
from $14,000 to $20,000 each year.
Maybe a board member who knows the answer for sure, can address this.
And, I wonder if we might get a bigger mid-West entry if our National were
there three years in a row? I know there will be a drop-off from both
coasts, but there are a lot of people living in the Purina area who might be
encouraged to drive in.
Also, to encourage you all, if we lose too much money in 2013, we won't
have to worry about any future events by our club.
