Been a long time since we have been to the Arizona shows and we've always loved them. We were entered this year....but it's a very VERY long drive to go for 2 pts. in dogs to start with .........so we opted not to go at the last minute. Yes....their hospitality is flawless and the shows are great. I would love to see the Arizona Clubs combine to do two Specialty shows on Saturday and two Specialty shows on Sunday to make four cluster shows in two days on one site. I think it would help their entry......tie up just one weekend for those of us with a long long drive and hopefully become a big weekend of shows to look forward to with nice majors. They certainly are worthy of great entries as they are great well run shows with wonderful members and facilities. Both of the AZ clubs do a great job with their shows. I do love the hotel in Tucson! The layout lends it self to socalzation and the pursuit of a great time :0) Terry Kathy Tank <rbuffdogs@xxxxxxxxx> wrote: Hi Guys, Seems like things may be getting a bit tense on the List this morning, lol. So here's a question to re-direct, What is your favorite show (no fair saying the Nationals) each year, specialty or AB, and why? In naming yourfavorite clubs , this is in NO way speaking poorly of other clubs that you have not mentioned, so let's not get hackles raised, lol. Personally we always look forward to the shows in AZ, Phoenix and Tucson. Very well run, with exhibitor needs at the forefront, always. There is always food / drink, washing set ups, and the committees at these clubs seem to try very hard to make sure everyone is happy. Tucson is a bit farther for us, but the plus is that the show is held at the hotel....so nice to unload and reload the van only one time. Also Tucson has done a wonderful done accomodating exhibitors with things like a hospitality room, dinner or lunch. I understand the Monroe, LA circuit is just awesome, indoors I believe, and hospitality abounds. Have not had the pleasure of going there yet, but hope to at some point. Biggest pet peeves (no naming clubs, now) Clubs that neither provide lunch or snacks or even water, nor have the site anywhere near where one can easily walk to a store or fast food to grab lunch, or a snack . It can be a LOOOONG day for exhibitors with no water available, and no food (even chips ) quickly available. Kathy http://www.victorygermanshepherds.com Ch.
