Okay, I must vent.. I've been trying to get a foreign dog registered by
the AKC. This process started over 2 months ago when I first mailed in
the foreign dog reg. application. After 6 weeks, I decided that the AKC
lost the application. It was delivered to them, but they swear they
never saw the thing.
Anyhow, I asked my husband to carry the application to the AKC in
Raleigh. That was almost 2 weeks ago. The application is still not
entered into the AKC system. I was told that the AKC must scan the
documents into their system first. I asked how long that takes and I
was told 3-4 weeks. Just to scan it in! Then it takes a couple months
or more to process the application.
I am really bummed. This dog is being sold and I am being accused of
dragging my heels and not following through with my commitment to
register the dog with the AKC.
