Sidetracking this a little, good sportsmanship is alive and well in
Minnesota!!! I had the opportunity to judge GSDs at the Wright County KC show
in Minnesota yesterday.
While the weather was a little cold and windy, the folks there were warm and
the sportsmanship was outstanding. The handlers were polite and having fun.
The crowd was having fun. The steward (in his beautiful navy pin-stiped suit
and immaculate white shirt) was having fun. Even the AKC Rep had a good time
watching the dogs.
There were beautiful bitches and handsome, hunky dogs. No signs of dying and
really nice temperaments.
I know there are bad things that can go on, but there are a lot of places where
good sportsmanship still reigns! Hats off to the good guys!!
