That reminded me of a show I judged, I think in St. Louis.  Bart came  up 
to me before the show and said there was a young man just starting to show,  
and would I talk to him about dog shows, and encourage him to continue?
 
I said I would be pleased to do so, as soon as I was done judging.  I  have 
to concentrate so hard when I judge, I don't want anything else to be on my 
 mind.
 
I did the classes and then the winner's and when I finished, I found Bart  
and asked him who it was he wanted me to talk to. He said that young man 
over  there, who you just gave Winner's Dog.
 
It was Reggie with a very nice sable dog. I don't know what happened to the 
 dog, and I never did figure out what happened to Reggie. But, at that time 
he  was a terrific handler.  A few years later I was standing next to 
Reggie  about to go into the ring in Specials at the National. I looked at him 
and said,  "Do you realize, I am 47 years older than you?"
 
Reggie just looked at me. I don't think he could understand someone even  
being 47, let alone 47 years older than him.
