[ SHOWGSD-L ] What A GREAT National!!

This was an impressive National. Lots of comraderie, fun and all around
'family' feeling. I always enjoy the National....but this year seemed special.
I don't know if it's because as I grow older I realize just how important my
German Shepherd Dog family is to me or I'm just sentimental.
What an absolutely gorgeous Best of Breed class. I saw lots of GV's and GVX's
in the making :). Congratulations to the owners and breeders of the GV and
GVX.....they were wonderful. Congratulations also to ALL of the winners and
exhibitors.....you were all a joy to behold. Our breed is in good hands. I hope
someone recorded Dave Rinke's comments......they will make you all proud.
There are many hard workers who need to be thanked...many 'unsung' heroes.
Kudos to Frank Fasano and the Board for what they did to make this special.
Special thanks to friends Bobby and Sandy Lindsay for what is a gargantuan
job. 'Nancy Harper Mulvaney's touches were everywhere. BUT......special KUDOS
to Gail Stiefferman who did and extraordinary job. I've known Gail since I was
much younger and she was very young and I'm very proud of her accomplishments.
I hope next year is as good. See you all there.
