Thats true, but I personally was not allowed to vote for three different people
for president (first choice- second choice-third choice) . I voted for the
person I wanted for president. After that the electral college will vote for
the person that got the majority of votes in our state, or we will string'm up.
That don't sound like the weighted ballet we have. If we did it your way,
California would probably pick the judge for the national. I think we have the

If the weighted method is so great, why don't we use that method to elect the
Preaident of the United States. It is a very long stretch to assume that none
of the remaining 66 would vote for John in your weighted method. I'm not an
attorney or actuary, but I am sure a lot of us out here in the real world can
understand that you can skew numbers to make a point. Sounds a lot like the
politicians running our country now,

We don't vote directly for the president. Your vote determines how many of the
votes in
your states electoral college that person gets. All of the states electoral
colleges meet and those people actually vote for the president.
