[ SHOWGSD-L ] Weekend brags

Wow, what a weekend in California! I headed out last Wednesday for the F/M and
specialties in Sacramento and got home last night. Had a great time and the
long trip from Wyoming was well worth it.
Laslar-Candia's Black Bart won his futurity class and went Reserve Futurity
Dog! Thank you, Ken Cunningham! I didn't enter him in any of the specialties.
Bart is bred by Tedi & Evan Ginsburg and Dave Lasater. He is owned by me, Dave
Lasater and Char Wilson. Bart is sired by my Ch. Candia's On Any Sunday out of
Sel.Ex.Ch. Hickory Hill's Magic Marker.
My boy Candia's Ya Think (Gibbs) went 3rd in his maturity class.
Candia's Yada Yada Yada took a 4 point major under John Bemont and another 4
point major and BOW under Ed Barritt. Thank you judges! This gives Yada 4
majors now needing 1 point to finish! Thank you Nancy McDonald for all the
handling this past weekend. Gibbs and Yada are sired by Sel.Ex.Ch. Laslar's
League of His Own of Somerset Rose out of Candia's Miss Devine Ya-Ya. Both
dogs were bred by me.
Thank also to the Sacramento and Reno clubs for a great time and some good food.
