I had one whose ear became irrated from being taped on and off for several months. I gave him a rest then taped again and it finally came up to stay - by that time he was a little over a year old. Most problems I've had were large, fast growing pups with very large ears. I think the cartilege goes to the joints first and ears last. The Sure Grow might help in that case.
