I haven't seen Ed for a while, but I hear he is fine.
I have skipped the last two shows, one in Arizona, and the one up in Northern
California. My practice is busy, and between that and the magic stuff, I am
finding little time for the dog shows.
I may miss the National, but I always feel that way about this time of year,
but I always seem to get there, if for nothing else to say hello again to Jane
Kerner. Each year we say it is our last one, but then we are there in St.
Louis again.

I'm soooo happy to hear about your adventures and that you are OK! Thanks for
posting.
Has anyone heard or seen Ed Hill lately? I miss his posts!
Was good to see Bill Basu over the weekend in Oregon. So at least one half of
the "tag team" of
Ed and Bill is still around!

I have heard nothing about my health. If I am sick, someone has to tell me.
Last week I attended the International Brotherhood of Magicians convention in
Grand Rapids, Michigan. It was dedicated to my 104 year old aunt who was still
a practicing magician, and so I went to join in the presentation. My aunt died
a week before the convention, so I accepted a document from the governor of
Michigan in her honor, and a plaque from the Grand Rapids Magic Club. At the
annual show for new magicians, I was one of the five judges.
During the convention I did travel about 100 miles up North to put on a magic
show at the oldest Danish Lutheran church in the United States. I was
marvelous. They expected 30 to 40 people, but we ended up with 150 or so. They
announced I would be there to perform, and I understand that caused the
attendance. Who knew people read the Ludington Daily News? Some of the kids
wore Danish outfits.
Tuesday evening of this week I helped out at the Orange County Legal Clinic,
Wednesday evening I was at the weekly card game with a bunch of retired judges,
(two dollar buy-in and a one cent bet), and last night I attended and did some
tricks at the Southern California Association of Magicians, SCAM. I have
clients coming in tomorrow, Saturday, but I might leave work early
I was in court Monday, Wednesday, and Friday this week.
I played with Kierk each night when I got home and the mornings before I left
for work. He also sleeps on the bed, when he wants to.
I am cutting my time at the office down to half days. I now work 6:00 am to 6
pm. That's half a day.
The news of my illness must have been exaggerated, or maybe no one told me.

Who starts these silly rumors?? Tell whoever told you so that it isn't true.
He's absolutely fine - or at least as good as ever.
Here's a pic of him doing a magic show in Michigan last week.
Nice of you to offer tho! <G>
