A few years ago there was a Grand Victor named Gallo. He was owned by Lee
Amster.
A trial started today against an alleged killer known as the Grim Sleeper.
The first murders were in 1985. They figured out who they thought would
do it, by DNA from a young man, who was too young to have done it. So, they
looked for a family member, and after getting some DNA from a pizza slice,
arrested him six years ago. He has been in prison for all that time, due
to the need to prepare for a trial claiming he killed 10 woman, (and they
think based on pictures they found at his home, 30 or more additional
victims.
Today the trial began.
Now the connection. The defense attorney is Seymour Amster. I saw
Seymour a few years ago in court, and evidently he is now a public defender.
Three degrees of separation.
