Who was the other dog that you could tell what he was thinking? Was it Ben?

So many have asked me this question so I guess I will answer on the List. I
didn't mean to start a mystery. No, it was not Ben. I loved being around
Ben because he made me laugh all the time, and he was the smartest dog I have
ever been around. But, I never saw him thinking, even though I think he did.

The other dog was a dog owned by John and Marie Bevaqua named Dien. He was
an all black, and when I looked close into his eyes, I could see something
going on. He was not that fond of me, but he allowed me to handle him and to
communicate with him.

So far there are only two dogs that have shown me that quality.
