The best word I have to describe Walter is "colorful" in every sense of the
way. Whether it was in his bright pink sport coat or his
personality...........he smiled a lot.
A tragic loss.
Thoughts are with Mary and the rest of the family.

I got to know Walter thru Dick and Jean Whalen. What a charismatic man, he
lived life to the fullest, brought style to the center of the GSD ring. He
could wear a bow tie and blazer and slacks with the best of them. He knew
a good dog, had the strength to do what he wanted and when he said "walk
on a loose lead" you had better do it. Loved showing under him and then
spending time after the shows listening to his many interests and stories. He
will be missed by us all.
