Time to wake up, grab a pen or use your computer and write AKC, tell them you
are a dog fancier and that you oppose PAWS and urge them to join you. Send
your letter to AKC in New York, address it to the AKC President, send an email
to communications@xxxxxxx and also to doglaw@xxxxxxxx Ask them to forward
your email to the Ron Menaker,Chairman, American Kennel Club, to Dennis Sprung
,
American Kennel Club President, and to the AKC Secretary Jim Crowley. Snail

For the record I have never sold 25 dogs in a year nor have I had 7 litters
in a year and I have been active since 1966. I do own, breed, show and judge
German Shepherd Dogs. It takes much less than 7 litters to produce 25 German
Shepherd puppies, so you probably will have government inspections in
accordance with PAWS for all German Shepherd breeders with only 4 litters per
year and
that would probably involve much more than your 4%.
Just when Rally is starting to bring people back into our sport AKC is now
supporting PAWS which will most likely start a slow death to our wonderful
world
of dogs. Maybe you could offer a title for Best Inspection.
I am very sad that AKC supports PAWS. However, we do live in the United
States of America and we have the freedom of speech and the right to change our
mind. I know that AKC should change their mind about PAWS and oppose it.
