Julie,
That was the same understanding that I got when I read the information. No
where did it state that this was in conjunction with anything related to the
GSDCA National. Thanks for the clarification.

I'm sure I will be corrected if I am wrong :-), but I thought that the show
in 2013 sponsored by the GSDCA was for the WUSV (World Union of German
Shepherd Clubs) show. It is the "world" championship trial for Schutzhund
only (no conformation of ANY type...German, American, etc). I also thought
that the United Schutzhund Club of America sponsored the 2008 WUSV....and it
was held in Florence, KY. So, this would be the SECOND time that the WUSV
world trial is held in the U.S., but the first time it is hosted by the
GSDCA. Perhaps for answers on cost, etc., the GSDCA could contact the USA and
get some feedback from them on what will be required financially and
labor-wise.
The FCI "World Show", which is held in Slovakia in 2009 and Denmark in 2010
is totally different from the show that the GSDCA is scheduled to host in
2013. The WUSV shows are to be held in 2009 Germany, 2010 Spain, 2011
Ukraine, 2012 ???, 2013 USA.
