What did you expect. No legislator votes to raise his own taxes. The
congress gets free medical and other things.
I would not think the delegates would vote for themselves to pay their own
fees. But, I bet Tom Brown did, and he isn't a judge.
One of my big regrets from when I was on the board is when I voted to raise
the per diem for board meetings. I forgot to ask to amend it to say it
only took effect after someone who voted for it, would get it. I just failed
to think of that at the time.
