[ SHOWGSD-L ] WARNING on buyer looking for adult male GSD on MI

I want to warn breeders of a person who is trying to buy an adult male GSD...I
am not sure on the appropriateness/legality of actually giving out a name, so I
will not at this time...this woman/family in Michigan bought a dog from a
friend of mine, will not get into details, but it seemed like a wonderful home,
said all the right things etc..., but things did not work out, no fault of my
friends or the dog, the people are idiots and are up to something, and long
story short, my friend ended up driving out from NY to MI and got the dog and
gave them a refund just to get her dog back, (even though it had been 3 weeks
and there was no legit reason for them to get a refund) because they were going
to sell him on the internet and had buyers interested in him...they tried to
get her to pay $500 more for the dog than they had bought him for, but ended up
agreeing to let her come get him and they got a refund, but they did not have
the papers back yet from akc, so promised to send th
em as soon as they got them....and would you believe my friend had gotten not
even an hour away when she got a message on her answering maching that they
were not going to sign the papers unless she sent them $500 more for the dog!!
So if someone tries to buy an adult male gsd in MI, beware! Contact me
privately and I will give more info on people if it is them.
