I ran into another rescue person (Shar Pei) today who told me of a woman who
bought a German shepherd male over the internet and was planning on breeding
the shar pei to the GSD. Rescue people managed to get them away from her,
but she will look for more. She apparently has lots of $$$ - so if anyone is
selling out here and needs a home check, let me know - we should all help
each other out.

Not that I ...in any, way, shape or form agree with intentional
"cross-breedings of designer mutts", but what grounds did the Rescue have to
confiscate these dogs? Where they abused? Neglected? I am in no way
defending this woman...PLEASE do NOT take it that way....... I just don't
understand how a rescue can take dogs just because this lady planned on
breeding to different purebreds together...... is there more to this story????
