You've got to be kidding. I thought I raised you better than that. You
probably do not even remember your old Dad then... Clayton Moore did not
play the Lone Ranger, he WAS the Lone Ranger. It killed him when they
finally tried to replace him, but with his passing so passed on to
history,
the saga of the Lone Ranger.
He was my hero and I was him in all of our backyard cowboy games. 7
P.M.,
KFI Radio - never missed it. I memorized all of the announcers parts,
although time and mental capacity have eroded part of it.
So, return with us now to the thrilling days of yesterday... The Lone
Ranger
Rides again!
The Lone Ranger, who with his faithful Indian companion Tonto, led the
fight
for law and order in the early Western United States.
He did not have a German Shepherd, but would have if they had been
invented
back then.
