How about setting dinner up casually...family style or arranging
different stations offering a variety of inexpensive meals. It is not about
the food, really, although sometimes fun to be elegant.
Maybe we should be elegant the first part of the week and have a blow
out party at the end when everyone is tired. I nominate Kris and Frank to
throw the party...they always throw a good one!

You are probably right.. but What was the actual cost to the club per
dinner.. compared to what we were charged?. I can figure how much they
made on
the wine.. at $5. per half a paper cup, from a wine that costs retail
maybe $5.
a bottle.. ( six paper cups per bottle)... that is profit of $25. per
bottle
of wine sold ( paper cups are 3cents each)... Real metal "silverware"
and
real plates would have been nice.. If the club is in such great
financial shape..
why burn us up for the dinner. There was a very poor PA system, most of
the
speeches could not be heard... ''
I can stand in line.. I can enjoy a ham sandwich.. but I would like
to
feel like there was some correlation between what I pay and what I get..
