MLB doesn't really get to make that call, the Hall of Fame isn't owned
by MLB....The Baseball Hall of Fame is privately owned and operated.
Pete Rose should be in the Hall of Fame for his accomplishments as a
player, which has nothing to do with his actions as a manager.
