[ SHOWGSD-L ] Veterans, non-GSD

Just got a call from a good friend with Springer Spaniels. Her 9yr old
veteran dog just got his invite to Eukanuba. This guy hasn't been shown a lot.
However, when he has shown, he's taken the breed, even at specialties, out of
the veterans class. I have known this dog since he was a pup and am thrilled
for her.
Since the subject of veterans has been on the List lately, I though this was
a cool thing to share. Does the heart good to see the old dogs get a chance :-)
