[ SHOWGSD-L ] Veterans And Juniors

I think that all clubs should offer Veterans and Juniors. There should be no
charge to enter either of these classes. The Juniors are important because
they are the handlers of tomorrow and the Veterans are important because
without them we would not have the dogs that we have today. Trophies and
ribbons do not cost that much more for a few extra classes. Any of the GSD
soecialty clubs who need financual help need to contact Dean Wylie about Royal
Canin support for 2009. I was told that he is in charge of it now. Royal
Canin will give the club money, trophies ( coupons for large bags of food,
towels, and Royal Canin enclyclopedia's for prizes ). The check that they sent
us paid for all our Spring show expenses. it really was a big help.
