I'd definitely ask her that question. I'd also ask her how many kids
she has in College or about to start College.... I'm not a vet, but
antibiotics shouldn't be handed out like dog treats. If the
beneficial Bacteria are killed off, you could end up with a Miss on
the Breeding, or worse, it might set the stage for a major Infection,
such as pyo. I figure "If it ain't Broke, Don't Fix It."
