[ SHOWGSD-L ] Vasculitis in GSDs

My 9-1/2 year old guy Jake has been diagnosed with Vasculitis. It is a
inflammation of the Blood Vessels. Just wondering if anyone else has had had a
dog with this and what the outcome was. Jake does alot of "moaning & groaning"
and has a very difficult time getting up and walking. He is so hard headed he
insists on following up the stairs and last night he fell half way down. I'm
beginning to think this isn't looking very good. He has been put on
Dexamethasone.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
