Boy I disagree. I am on a reproductive list and you would not believe the
puppies that come up sick/dead because people are following the "new"
protocol.
I think the immune issues seen in some dogs have a lot more to do w/
genetics than puppy vaccines. When I was a kid, our dogs got their yearly
vaccines until they died...well into their teens. Now we know better and I
don't
vaccinate after 3, and dogs die younger. Go figure.
While I do agree it is not good to vaccinate a sick or immune compromised
dog later in life, guessing at when mom's immunity runs out and what a baby
will be exposed to...not for me.
