We have a four-year old bitch who has been bred once; it was a surgical implant with frozen semen. The implant was done by the top Southern California reproductive clinic in Pasadena. At the time of the implant the sperm was evaluated as being in good condition with satisfactory motility. The vet, however, told us that the bitch had uterine cysts IN the uterus and that she thought it was quite possible that she would not carry a litter. (She breeds Great Danes) and her recommendation was to remove the bitch from our breeding program. The bitch did NOT have puppies. If any of you have had experience with a similar situation and can share information with us, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks much!!!!!
