We drove to the National Show site to show at the Great Salt Lake GSDC 
Specialty shows.
Worth the trip as  we watched a Cash daughter complete her Championship at 
these shows.  
* Congratulations to Tom & Jacque Philippbar on their new Champion Coastline's 
Blackberry 
handled by Bill Basu.
* Congratulations to Roxann Labra on her young Cowboy son ( called Turbo ) win 
his very first Major.
* Congratulations to Colette Skinner on her black Nicaragua son CH. Mar Haven's 
Ace Of Spades
and his Best Opposite Sex handled by Bill Basu first time shown as a new 
Champion.
* We got to watch Zac Hudspeth take our Champion Mar Haven's Last Cowboy Song 
P.T. in the ring 
handling him for the very first time in preparation for them teaming up for the 
National.    
Zac very ably handled Cowboy to a Best of Breed the first time Cowboy has been 
shown this year  
Now we are hoping to get Cowboy started for his HSAS in Utah in October 
.......and then go into the 
big arena on Saturday with Zac.     This young man is a great upcoming handler!!
* The Great Salt Lake GSD Cllub had two Specialties on one day and two good 
judges in Ken Tank and 
Nancy Harper making it appealing to us to make the long drive
A nice friendly Club that efficiently works to make  exhibitors have a great 
show experience on a great 
show site with easy  access.    Great "trophies" of nice rain gear, coats, 
etc.....all useful items.    
Well worth the drive......a really good show set up for the rest of the weekend 
with All Breeds.   With two 
shows in one day for the Specialties........we were able to turn around and go 
home as Zac had another
show to get to the next day in our area.  <G>
It will be fun for those at this National  to be able to actually watch a lot 
of the herding right there close by
as in  Perry.    We saw Bill Burggraaf there ..........working hard on last 
minute details for our National.
Are you ready for a DOG SHOW!!!!    <G>
