In Utah, you could easily be involved in both or watch both. I Loved
Utah for that very reason.
I honestly don't know what they did for a C Course and maybe that is what

The only thing "against" the facilities at Farmington in Utah was that
you had to bathe the dogs outside....and the
stalls were also not attached to the main arena building. Many hated
it for that reason as I understand it.
I have sent this e-mail on to Sandy Moore as she may have some answers for
you as I believe she was on the Committee
or at least very involved in helping get the livestock there. If we
don't hear from her I would think that possibly Val Manning
in the Denver area would have information on the site and who to contact
so I forwarded this question to her also.
As I recall the building for Obedience was the biggest problem......as the
indoor size and pillars in the way were a
problem......and Dalene McIntire had to work it out to be outside and that
did not make a lot of Obedience people happy?

If anyone knows a facility in Utah that can handle Herding; please speak
up.
Myself, My Mom, and Diane Roberts have made numerous inquiries without
success. The facility that handled Herding for us in Salt Lake City the
last time moved out of State. The Stock Dof facilities have not returned
phone calls or emails. We even tried message boards and blogs.
AKC has no Herding Trials or Events in Utah.
We have everything necessary to propose (Legacy Center, Meeting Rooms,
Hotels, Tracking, Performance Venues, Equipment). We need the final piece:
Herding.
We are making every effort possible, but we can't pull ducks and sheep out
of our ..... never mind. ha ha

You heard it here first! Too bad to because Utah is an agreeable west coast
compromise, I'd rather do Oregon but I can understand the travel issues
involved with that site, no such issues with Utah, it's a Delta Hub, and
Delta still flys dogs, its less than a day's drive for most of the west
coast! But the "Tea leaves", Dr. Phill, and Dr FB, says it won't happen!
Come on BOD, get that National out of St Louis! Don't hold your breath!
