I had the same problem, my 14 1/2 yr old girl goes in the same one or two spots
right by the door, the odor was horrendous!
Asked my cleaning person if she had any suggestions - pour regular white
vinegar on the spots. Worked like a charm and super cheap. When the odor
starts to build up, I pour on the vinegar, it fizzes then the odor is gone. I
use it now for cleaning up after ducklings and any thing else smelly. A good
old fashioned and all around safe cleaner.

Last night a friend asked me if I had any tips on how to lessen dog urine smell.
She has a very small yard & 2 Danes who insist upon pee'ing in the same area.
The grass is dead & gone. The soil has changed color. It smells dreadful & rain
water makes it smell worse.
I have a pretty large yard... so I've never had such a problem. I suggested
buying a couple bags of soil & replacing what is there with new... then
covering it with gravel that can be hosed off.
Is there any sort of something she can spray on her existing ground to lessen
the smell?
