Hi
They say you breed long enough and you will get everything.so now, I have a
6 year old bitch, who just had 2 huge stones taken out, last week. The
reports came back from the lab and they show both Calcium and Struvites.
They want to put her on a special diet.dry with no canned or meats. My
question is, has anyone had this problem, is it hereditary, does it run in
certain blood lines, (not that anyone will probably tell me, but.) and would
a raw diet help or hurt this issue since it's an imbalance of both the
Calcium and Stuvites? Did it come back again (they say it can if not fed
properly) and what they did for this. They recommend the Hills GD. Anyone's
ideas or input is greatly appreciated!
Thanks
Donna
