Raleigh NC. She is listed as Heidi on the petfinder site...the
person who adopted her took her home for a trial, and
promptly "lost" her...the SPCA is threatening legal action against
her if she doesnt produce the dog. Anyone who is in that area,
please keep your eyes open for a submissive black and tan pup, 6
months old. More black than tan...recently spayed. This happened
Aug. 10th. The shelter director has posted fliers everywhere and has
been out late into the night repeatedly combing the surrounding area
for this dog. She fears foul play. If they get her back she will be
coming to us. VERY nice gal there...loves the animals.

County "shelter" where puppies were being beaten by workers and dogs
were being forced to fight for their food. Many of these facilities
employ prisoners of the local area to "care" for the animals, and
puppies have actually been washed into drains by the hoses they use
to clean the pens. I received THAT little tidbit as first hand
information. Remember Blake? He had caustic burns on his body from
the chemicals used to clean the runs...they dont always remove the
dogs, and they end up languishing in the toxic soup.
