I think this is an instance of "you weren't there", from what I found on
InfoDog, the only GSD class that Ms. Robey judged in FL was in the early months
of
2004 and she gave the single point to a Puppy. Maybe there was mitigating
circumstances that she gave the Puppy a few more chances because it was a
pup? I don't know, I wasn't there.
Yes, I know that THAT handler gets lots of freebies, and it disgusts me, but
to bring this up 18 months later just before she is judging a specialty seems
a bit unfair. She has judged GSDs many times in the last 18 months...why
bring it up now? (o.k., I wonder about a Turveren breeder judging
aspecialty,
but I wasn't THERE, either, and maybe there's a reason I don't know about),
I will not stop my entry in a show that Ms. Robey is judging because of this,
and I will judge for myself this time. This is a totally different
situation than Mr. J.White's circumstance. That situation was brought
IMMEDIATELY to
the attention not only of us, but of AKC. He was warned, I am assuming, and
changed his pattern back to his former judging style (Thank goodness).
