I would urge anyone with the time and interest to run for the board. It is
an opportunity to give back to the club and our sport some energy, time and
dedication. While there are many frustrating things about being a board member,
(you get all the blame and none of the credit), it is a rewarding experience.
If you do wish to be part of the future of the breed, join those willing to
give back and serve on the board. Our board represents some of the hardest
working and dedicated people you will ever see. If you haven't attended a
meeting you can't realize what a great group they are.
We are fortunate to have those willing to do this job, consider if you might
be one of them. A willingness to serve is the one element needed for this
position.
