We had a incident near us awhile back with 2 armed with knives forced their way
in to a older woman home.
The dogs were not protective dogs so did not react immediately which was
probably a mistake. One was a
GSD the other a Lab mix and when they put the woman down on the floor both dogs
tried to protect her.
They both lost their lives with knife wounds very sad story. The county Police
Officers caught them later
and the guy that killed the dogs is going down with probably 20 years and the
woman with him will get a good
sentence. If more states would have severe punishments for killing or injuring
a dog crooks would think twice before
they did. Look at all the Police K-9's losing their lives everyday this
country is in a very bad state.
When you think now most people believe dogs should be friendly to everyone
never has been a good idea of what I believe.
The reserved dog that does not run up to everyone they meet is safer than the
dog. The dog believing everyone is their friend could
cause them to lose their life.
