[ SHOWGSD-L ] URGENT PLEA

Due to severe health issues, Dawn Restuccia must step down from her  
position as President of Last Hope, Safe Haven Inc. 501(c)3, a financial bridge 
 
Organization that provides approved rescues with the necessary funding to  
facilitate saving and rehoming German Shepherd Dogs facing critical situations 
 nationwide.  Since Dawn founded the organization in 2007, over 500 German  
Shepherds have been saved and gone on to lead full and happy lives.  We  
desperately do not want to see Last Hope close its doors; there are too many  
German Shepherds who will need help in the days, months and years to come.
 
If there is anyone out there who is willing to take over the reins of Last  
Hope, please contact Dawn ASAP.  As there is no physical rescue involved,  
it is simply a matter of networking with shelters, rescues and  
veterinarians.  Dawn is able and more than willing to stay on as an advisor  to 
help in 
the transition and can also assist in such everyday tasks as writing  
thank-you letters for donations.  Who ever does take over may choose their  own 
Board of Directors and develop their own fundraising program.  PLEASE …  
someone do this for the dogs.
