Ed,
Not more worthy of our attention but when they have become Champions it does
make us sit up and take notice...... When I was a kid and a young man.... all I
could think of was owning a dog that was an AKC Champion..... I have had German
Shepherd Dogs since I was 11 months old.... I always thought an AKC Champion
would live a life of luxury all of his/her life and SHOULDN'T they????

I am very familiar with this dog, and I am friends with his owners and breeders
...I am not sure about the facts surrounding this situation, but you can bet I
plan to find out..God knows I love the hard work and the passion that goes into
what Dawn and others do on behalf of Rescue, but the title line of CHAMPION IN
KILL SHELTER some how suggests that a dog with this title is more worthy than a
dog in a kill shelter without the title, and I know this is NOT WHAT DAWN
means....but it does give the same connotation....Ed Hill
